Spending Time with Your Kids
Working at home is a true challenge and spending time with your kids is even a larger challenge. Family is everything and that’s why moms and mums all over the world are making an effort to make family first. It’s no secret that people have bills to pay, and that means work has to get done. When work gets done, then families can eat and pay their bills. How can a mom spend time with her kids and work from home?
Work When They Are Sleeping
When the kids are sleeping, you can work. This means exhaustion for you and sacrifice, of course. You will not always get everything done in one day, but at the end of the day you know what was most important. There are going to be days when you feel like you have done everything possible to be there for your kids and that’s great. Working while your kids are sleeping is a sure fire way to earn money and still be home with your kids.
Hire a Sitter
Hiring a sitter while you work at home sounds like an oxy-moron. Why would you hire a sitter, while you are trying to save money? Well, if you’re stressed out, then it’s not going to work out for you anyways. That’s why hiring a sitter makes the most sense! Hire the sitter and spend the money because it helps you and the kids out.
Just Stop and Enjoy Your Kids
Stop feeling guilty about everything you do and just start enjoying your kids. If you have to leave the house and spend time with your kids, then do so. Leaving the house keeps all of the distractions away and you can just focus on your kids. Take them out for an inexpensive dinner and give yourself a break along the way. Imagine how great you will feel when you do not have to worry about cooking and cleaning up after dinner.
You can’t perfectly balance working at home and spending time with your kids. You will always struggle with balancing any path you take. At the end of the day, if your bills are paid and your belly’s are full, then you are making great progress. It take s a great woman to work at home, and you my friend are doing everything you can to make it a reality for your family.
