An Honest Review – BeAble.Name – Helping Your Children Strive With Their Learning
When you’re a working mum there are always so many things to think about and many of those things seem to involve the children. It can be easy to lose touch with the basics and some sound advice in this area would be welcomed by so many mums, including myself.
Imagine how pleased I was when I a friend recommended that I take a look at a website which has been put together by a lady called Lorraine Capon. Lorraine is an experienced teacher and working mother who has put together a series of books in the Be Able range which are about as down to earth as you could possibly get. The books range from how to become a tutor all the way to poetry that is written in a way that gets the point across to children on some often tricky subjects.
Don’t worry if you think that it all looks a little on the complex side, nothing could be further from the truth and each book has hardly any educational jargon, just the way I like it!
Each of the books comes in a downloadable format so that you can be acting on the information within only a few minutes of making the order. This keeps the price right down but to be honest, as soon as you start reading any of the range of Be Able books you will probably be of the same opinion as me, you would happily pay more because the information really is quite unique.
For instance, the book about poems which is entitled, ‘Poems for Christians with a Warped Sense of Humour’ has some poems that really made me laugh but others had a far more serious message, the one on bullying, especially so. To be honest, I was a little concerned about the mention of Christians in the title of book number five. I am not really all that religious myself and it did concern me a little that the books might be a little to deep on the religious front. Not that there is anything wrong with that and it may be what many people are looking for but I needn’t have worried. The whole range of Be Able will appeal to absolutely everyone, not just people who are Christians as they are all written in a way that everyone will find interesting.
I’m speaking to more and more working mums who have decided to work from home so that they can get involved with home schooling. Working from home can fit in around home schooling perfectly, with a bit of organisation that is, and if you are even just considering this route you should definitely take a look at book number four in the Be Able series.
It details everything you could ever need to know about becoming a tutor and there were many parts of that book that I had not even considered, to say it was a real eye opener really would be something of an understatement and you really can tell that it is written by someone who really has a great deal of experience of the subject.
My aim for Confessionsofaworkingmum.com is for it be the one place where a working mum can go to find everything that she needs to help her on her way and that is why I must mention this series of books by Lorraine. They are about as straightforward and easy to read as you could possibly get and I know that so many working mums will be able to get so much out of them. Take a look at the website, BeAble.name and see what you think, I’m sure that you will be very impressed.
